Business Development Manager Hawkes Bay Craig Gowler decided to become a mentor for the Big Brother Big Sister of New Zealand programme. This volunteer mentoring role fills an already busy schedule. “I really love what the programme does for young people and the young man I am mentoring is growing with the support he is now getting,” said Craig. “Adam is learning to face challenges outside his current environment like going fishing in a boat. The one on one time is really enjoyed and he is just becoming such a neat young man.” Studies show that 98% of the youth mentored believe they now make better life choices as a result of the relationship that develops through the programme.
