McFall Fuel is continuing to make every effort to get to customers in Northland, West Auckland, Gisborne, and Napier. While many people have long since forgotten Cyclone Gabrielle, there are still large numbers of people for who it is a daily reality. Getting fuel to places where fuel delivery trucks cannot go has become a way of life as this picture in the Hawkes Bay illustrates.  “The planning for customers has been challenging because each customer is important but we cannot reach everyone as quickly and as safely as we would like,” said Planning Team Manager Holly Mitchell. “We have some customers who understand and appreciate this which is fantastic. One of the Customer & Financial Services Team called 75 customers who had been waiting for fuel for the longest and 98% of them were understanding of their and our situation. Working together is the key.”
